Dubai-based Abaya Addict featured for the second year in a row, as styled by Fashion Fighting Famine. Edgy details, poppy prints, and loads of color in addition to modern flattering silhouettes for a broad range of women were highlights of the collection. 

With a resort-chic vibe, the segment opened with a flowing palazzo pant number with a Missoni suitcase in tow. Favorites included long-sleeve dresses from simple and classic wrap-dresses to on-trend peplum in various solid colors. Long, train-like high-low tops in unconventional prints added a dramatic flair to the collection. The segment closed with a bold black and neon-studded harem pantsuit with neon accessories.

I think we are all familiar with the pain that is dress shopping when wedding season rolls around. The problem is not finding a dress, rather finding a way to modify the dress to meet modesty requirements. Especially for me, I’m am not a fan of layering on the daily, and definitely not at special events! I can’t be bothered with finding a bolero to match a sleeveless dress or a sewing a piece of fabric to cover a dress with a plunging neckline. Thankfully, RAYAN has graced us with their presence!
