Since 2007, Fashion Fighting Famine has contributed thousands of dollars towards various charitable causes.
MALI | Islamic Relief
In 2010, Fashion Fighting Famine raised funds for Islamic Relief in support of their projects in Mali. The primary project supported was the Widow's Cooperative Program, which educates, empowers, and equips widowed women to work together to establish their own businesses and support their families, while contributing to the local economy. The Malaria Program, which aims to eradicate malaria in the region, was also supported by FFF.
EAST LOS ANGELES | ILM Foundation
Each year, Fashion Fighting Famine participants volunteer at the annual Humanitarian Day, a day of relief for the homeless that takes place in Ramadan.
In 2009, FFF decided to dedicate its annual fashion show production in support of the ILM Foundation, which hosts this event.
